"I don't care how much, or how many, Light you bring with you," Seera stated, her voice clear and plain. "This is a war, and the Light know it has started. We have made our move, and now await theirs." It was the truth, though only part of it. They were not only waiting, but preparing for a whirlwind of attacks that would cripple the Light until it was shackled by it's sheer number of casualties.
"And yep, I expect you to walk like that," she replied, now with a slightly amused grin. "It's entertaining for me, and might bring your head out of the clouds. Now, if you're worried we'll get attacked, I wouldn't. First off, I'm scarier than most of the creatures here. Second, those chains are woven of shades, a kind of demon which I command, and I can release them very quickly if necessary."
Feeling the amulet the girl had dropped jogging about with her step, she pulled it out. "By the way," she said coldly. "You dropped this."

For a moment Adorna stilled, staring at the pendant in shock. Oh sweet threads, what had she done? That explained the cold rage... She looked up at Seera, fear widening her eyes. "Do I get it back?" she asked, tilting her head to one side. "Out of curiousity, do you know about any other magic, apart from your shades?" Although she was unfamiliar with the term, Adorna guessed they were magically controlled. She hoped that her captor's knowledge of the arcane was limited. She started to walk again, shuffling steps that hid her nervousness. They must know, if they had taken her by choice, who she mattered to. And that meant, she clenched her jaw in frustration, she was already bait.
"I wish I'd never agreed to this," she murmured, remembering the errand Cherla had sent her on in the first place. Silently, she cursed the young Weaver. There were times when Cherla acted in her own confidence, but she still generally had the right idea. Most of the time. Adorna couldn't help thinking that this time, there had been a miscalculation.

"I think I'll keep it," She said with a grin, pocketing the amulet once again. "After all, it is soooo pretty."
"I know about many other kinds of magic, I find it helpful to know what my enemies will try, but in practice only a handful. Most of it black witchcraft, and a bit of ancestral magery," She replied smoothly, being carefully vague. "Though anything I don't know, I'll find out. What of you? Do you practice any magic or no?"
