Seera frowned as Elexia took her back to do the spot check. Grumpy as she was, the soldiers felt it. "YOU! You've got dirt on your face, fifty sit-ups! YOU! You've got jelly on your shirt! 100 sit-ups! YOU! yo- ewww.... just... try not to grow mold first next time, okay? 1 bath!" Once finished, she scanned the grounds for the two she had just seen. ((Dawwwnnn.... posteth!))

Carefully, Katarn stood, watching Loril with eyes that held barely contained fury. "Ya don' wanna mess wiv me, but I recon you migh' be able ta help. If ya want to live that is..." There was a sick twist to his expression, completely at odds to the easy way he spoke. itf he wanted something done, it would be done. And he [felt something in the make up of the world that hinted at trouble for the LIght. There wasa distinct tang of plotting in their air, of treachery and misdeeds. Katarn grinned. he'd just have to make sure that he had done enough to cripple the Dark so that even should they win the war, they'd lose the people and thus the realm. "Ya want ta help me Padiat?" It wasn't really a question.

Elexia twisted her black tunneled eyes over to those who spoke and walked over having the expression of anger and fiery. Elexia then spoke in rough tone," you and your comrade move aside, the rest do 20 chin-ups NOW!" She then saw the expressions of the two, one was rather menacingly evil while the other was somewhat like a lackey for the other maybe even an accomplice. Elexia then called for the files of the two soldiers, reading through the profiles, it didn't seem to say much about them, however it did indeed reveal their real names, Elexia gave snake eyes to them both then turned back to Seera and sent a message through brain waves which goes like this," they both must be the traitors, they do not look at all like the other men or women." Elexia kept them under her eye while making them do 50 chin-ups.

((That's what I was trying to tell you saph... can we disregard the spot check and follow my lead? Sorry urgh I feel so mean -,- sowwy!! But that k?))
Seera walked along the path of shredded grass between the tents before coming to the one where she had seen the two men earlier. "Oy, open up!" She said, banging on the tent. If they were still inside, they'd do well to come out. Otherwise... her hand was resting on the handle of her steel-barbed whip.

Katarn, feeling a coldness he didn't want to recognise, poked his head out of the tent flap. "Sorry ma'am, but me an' Padiat are 'aving a lil converstation. I'm... convincing 'im ta join the Dark afore I see fit ta make 'is life a nightmare." He grinned at the woman, a genuinely twisted expression that showed a shadowed nature to him that was almost inescapable. If someone hadn't sensed the Dark in him before, now it came off him in waves. And the cold, there was a hint of ice around him, temper pushed too far to retain heat. "But, ifn ya want, we'll come out, although me mate 'ere is a lil worse fa wear since ya saw 'im."

((okie then christa... and its okie ^^))
Elexia could not stand just waiting outside with no answers, since she was air elemental, she blew a gush of wind to open the flaps of the tent where it would reveal the whole inside... She then walked in and said convincingly lying," there seems to be some bugs hanging around here." she paused looking at Katarn," we were just gonna search your tents anyways." She looked at Seera telling her to do the honours..
((brain block!!!)

Seera shook her head. "We won't catch a good spy by tent searching, or lying. Since in both of those they are most likely extremely talented," she replied, the pounded-in training lectures of her youth surfacing in her memory. The one who just popped his head out acted like one of the dark side, but who was a spy without a disguise? As for the other one, she wouldn't have been surprised to've looked around and found something very incriminating. "Anyone who's been trained knows not to leave anything lying around, plus I'm highly doubtful this is their tent."
"Both of you, come out," Seera ordered. "There has been a Light Side prescence sensed here at camp, and we have reason to suspect it may be one of you. Elexia, what do you think?"
((Methinks we'll keep them as PoW's or somethin, unless you can escape hehe))

((what is pow?))
Elexia nodded in agreement with Seera, giving the facial expression for her to make the rest of the decisions for the rest of the trip. Elexia still sensed that they were the traitors, but if Seera did not think so then she would not bother that much. Elexia just stood there waiting for Seera's next order for the two.
Elexia though still had to get something off her chest," most of the traitors do not really need disguises to convince us that they are our soldiers." Elexia then backed down holding back the rest of her words.

Katarn came out slowly, realising that while the Spymaster may have some idea what was going on, the mage with her had none. For a moment, he stood before them, a man of common birth with little hope of advancement, and the next he was a nobleman, an officer. Then he shifted slightly and he was Lerik again. He stared at Elexia with a slow, amused smile on his lips. "Tha's ya problem magess, ya always say thin's afore thinkin'. Ifn they don' need disguises ta fool ya, then ya security and spy teams ain't doin' their jobs."
With a slightly more respectful smile, he turned to Seera. "Forgive me m'am, fa steppin' outta line, but ya see I had this feelin' tha' somethin' was gonna happen and since I'd been keepin' an eye on the men I figured ya wouldn' miss me. An' I know ya don' recognise me, an' I know ya don' trust me, an' I respec' tha'. But ya do hav' a spy in ya midst. Worse, 'e's a liar, a bad one, 'ho uses names ta scare ya. 'E's got it inta 'is 'ead I'm Katarn o' the Ligh'." here he chuckled a little, shook his head. "We all know tha' prig don't leave 'is tent unless 'e 'as to. The paper-pushin' apprentice. ya ask any o' ya men, or women, and they'll tell ya the same. Katarn is as useful a spy as tits on a bull."
The rumour had been spread through the most secure chanells, had been cultivated, nutrured, until it became a common truth. No one was scared of Katarn, and therefore Light spies were expected to be as inept as Loril. And as witless as drudges. In fact, Katarn had lost count of how many men and women, too twisted to be useful but to clever not to use, that had been fed to that rumour. The blond man didn't lose sleep over the death of pawns.
"Ya wan' ta undermine the Ligh', boost morale, take 'im. Because ya won't find no one else. And come supper time, ya won't need to. So long as I can do wha' I'm meant ta do. Tonight, tales of Ligh' stupidity will be sung around the fires." Katarn took a half step back, moving so he was completely at ease. The smile on his lips was far from the common speech he'd used. In fact, there was the hint of surity rarely found among common people or common spies. Despite his disembling, Katarn had told the truth the entire way through his speech. It was a little twisted so it fit his purpose, but it was the truth. Silently, Katarn embraced the cold that slumbered in him, letting it consume him until there were no other thoughts in his mind or heart but destruction. And they couldn't accuse him of being a spy, because he'd admitted as much. The truth was a quilt and Katarn delighted its patterns.

The man was extremely sensible, and even through that mask of idiot's accent, she could hear the intelligence beam through. Though it was not unbelievable that a simple soldier would have such mental prowess, there was something about him, the way he talked, moved, the look in his eyes, that made him seem different from the others. "Soldier, who are you? You hold yourself differently than others," She asked. Was he some bizarre noble thrown from his crown, or a lord with nothing better to do? No... he was something strange. Whether a spy or not she couldn't tell; but then again, with a good spy you never could.
"As for your friend," She turned to address Loril. "You have a choice to come quietly, and arrive at the prison in one piece, or to struggle and be dismembered where you stand." This she said with an utterly straight face. She would take the second one prisoner, first because he had acted like a spy earlier, second he was talking to the strange man, and third, she didn't want to risk him being a spy, and running back to tell the light all their plans.

Elexia had a feeling that Seera had fallen into his trap of charm but it was indeed also working for Elexia. Unknowing, Elexia had also fallen into it, but as promised, she left the decisions to be made for Seera whether she made the right one or wrong one, Elexia would be the "advisor" by her side just to give opinions on how she felt and tried to control herself from interfering(sp?) unless she felt the necessity, Elexia just nodded as if she was phychoneurotically disturbed. She was just hyming a tune in her mind, a tune that would most probably haunt you but not Elexia, in fact she was enjoying it, just standing there, idling awaiting for answers to come her her.

Katarn bowed slightly, again the nobleman, but spoke as a commoner. "I'm o'e'er ya wan' me ta be, ma'am, e'en though ya won' find me name on ya paper." He lowered his voice, aware of the observers. "I figgured ya may want ta know when ya spies weren' doin' wha' they're supposed ta. They missed me ya see and since I wan' ta see the Dark at their mighties', I though' ta check fa 'oles in ya defences."
The response was standard spy talk for, 'I wanted you to catch me, you failed, now what are you going to do?'. Katarn had heard it over and over again. But what was different here was that he'd spotted the spies almost as soon as he passed them. He'd been under the nose of the Dark army for nearly a month, and only by chance had they come across him. Now, they could either kill him, or use him. And since there was no trace of Light in him now, and nothing that could be tied to him and not Loril, they wouldn't turn such a dangerous tool as himself loose.
Katarn scratched his neck, his face, and obviously held in a belch, waiting.

Seera just gave him a thin smile, before turning and started marching Loril to the camp prison. However, as she passed him, for only a split, unseeable second, she leaned over and whispered in his ear. "Spymaster Katarn, I have no will for you to die just yet," she said with an ironic, knowing tone. She knew who he was; she had figured it out after his first little speech. But she would allow him to live through the night, for hopefully in the morning he would have naught to return to.
