The woods - neither own by the dark or light side, but still with holds both.A young girl sighed as she sat on a fairly high tree branch, her back leaning against the trunk of the tree, one of the snake green eyes were open and were looking over the edge while the other eyes was closed because of the somewhat of sunlight coming through the thick canopy.
"What's the point of this war anyways? I supppose it's for the upper hand of power and anything the war started over..." A voice whispered quietly, appearently so being the girl's own voice. She sighed once more and enjoyed the peace while she could, before the fighting broke out, the two sides clashing and mixing into each other.
The girl had been through a lot throughout her life and was trying to get away from anymore fighting or tremendously large - not to mention violent - disagreements. That's she basically suffered - war, ambush, mass murders, and anything else that had destroyed everything she longed to be back.

Her footsteps echoed throughout the forest as Seraph, the dark spearwielder, made her way through the Aravaen Forest, cursing at her rotten luck. "Ugh. How did I end up here anyway?" She muttered to herself, slamming her golden spear upon the ground. The ring within the mouth of the dragon insignia upon her armour clinked as she walked, making an annoying noise in rhythm to the crunching of leaves and twigs beneath her feet. Her cold eyes scanned the neverending path that lay before her. Looking for a quick way out, she gazed left, then right.
"Cursed forest." She said again to nobody in particular. Sitting down against a nearby tree, very close to the one on which the girl was sitting, she contemplated a way to escape from this green, leafy maze. "Why wasn't I given the ability to fly?" She asked herself mournfully. If she could fly, she'd be out of here in minutes. She allowed the spear to rest near her as she stared out into the depth of the forest.
ooc-Sorry, short post. Real tired.

Cherla walked through the forest calmly, knowing that where she traveled, her heart would make her welcome. Most of the time. She sighed, reaching up to caress the Rose Crystal set in silver at her throat. It was the resouvior of her magic, her link to the powers that had shaped the world and ran in her blood. She shook her head, red-streaked brown hair falling over her shoulder. There were things in the woods that she didn't know about, things that blurred and scurried and made her uneasy. But then, hadn't her grandfather said all things had to make their own choices? And that was why she was in the woods, making a choice about the army she and her strength would support. "Everything has a price," she muttered, stepping over a tree root, remembering the saying but not who had said it. Cherla closed her eyes for a moment, pushed the memories of her grandfather's cottage to the back of her mind, and kept walking. ooc: sorry for the short post, it counts as a tired ramble

The girl sat in the tree and when she saw another figure walking, she opened both eyes, pressing the front of her body to the thick tree branch, crawling up a little so to get a better view of this person. The figure who was walking looked like a female, sighing and sitting up straight on the branch, the girl looked around some more and spotted another girl with a golden spear,"Great...." She muttered sarcastically,"More people....And the two of them are females like I myself....I try to get some rest and peace while it lasted but it ends but all too quickly..."
"Ah well......Might as well.....See if I can put some gnomes to sleep....Accursed forest with it's tree gnomes to steal your stuff....Pft..." She took out a silver flute as she whispered her comment on gnomes and started playing a sad, slow song that almost seemed like a lullaby, but it wouldn't affect elves, fairies, pixies, anything that was based around the human figure....She would know it doesn't work because she tried on one of the elders in her village when she was younger.

Seraph was still slumped against a tree when all of a sudden, a melodious flute song started to float through the trees. "Huh?" Seraph muttered, looking around. Lifting her gaze to the canopy of compact leaves, she still couldn't spot where the music was coming from. Maybe there were others here. Yes, and now she heard footsteps. Great, there was more than one. Perhaps they had gotten lost too. Maybe she could also ask for the way out of this accursed place. Standing up, she picked up her spear, and then she looked back up at the canopy.
"Hello? Is anyone there?"

Cherla tilted her head to one side, a shimmering melody running down her spine. Someone was... Well, she wasn't sure what they were doing exactly. Yet. It felt like someone was throwing satin sheets over her, warm ones, that moved and molded to her body as though... And then she knew. A lullaby. The smile that touched her lips was echoed in her blue-green eyes. The melody was fairly simple, in that it consisted of a single instrument. Cherla stopped, closed her eyes, and listened for the crystal thread that ran through the world carrying the spell. That was how she described looking for anyone or anything magical in the world. Of course, it wouldn't really make sense to anyone unless they had known her grandfather.
Opening her eyes, Cherla looked upwards, into the trees, and hesitated. Someone else was in the woods and she got a distinctly Dark feel about them. But these were neutral lands so they shouldn't harm her. Absentmindedly she caressed the Rose Crystal at her throat. She hoped, for everyone present's sake they didn't try to harm her... "I am," she said, walking towards the voice.

Yuria finished play the final, long note of the song as both of them titled her head up at her,not seeing her at all, and the fact she made the tree gnomes sleep....She was getting tired of having to chase after them for her flute or something else shiney she had.The had an annoying obsession when they saw shiney things, for some reasons unknown to most people, but she she knew on quite the contrary.Closing her eyes and listened to the long note carry on through the woods, being neither dark nor light she had no reason to harm any of the two women, unless they were to harm her first at any oppertune moment for them, but she highly doubted that would happen.
Yuria opened her snake green eyes, standing up while doing so and squatting down for a brief second, grabbing the tree branch with her hands, front flipping over it once the letting go as she did some summersaults in midair. She landed in front of the first one and she dusted herself off, seeing a fly on her shoulder and flicking it off."Hello....Might I ask what your name is?Don't worry I'm harmless....."

Seraph jumped back slightly as two figures abruptly made their appearance. Composing herself, she then slapped herself mentally. You're a dark warrior, stop acting like a coward. She told herself. "My name is Seraph, dragon spearwielder. Do any of you know the way out of here?" She said, looking the two people up and down. A chilly wind ruffled her crimson curls. She turned her empty gaze towards the neverending pathway that led across the realm, hidden between rows and rows of large trees.

"I might, if the forest hasn't changed in the last few years," Cherla replied with a soft smile. She was bound by oath to help those wandering in these lands, in fact, she had decided to extend that to any who asked her help, within reason.
"I'm Cherla, by the way. Where are you headed?" Carefully, she moved her hand so that her ring didn't show so she could slip the ring from her finger. If anyone who knew her people, who knew anything about their legends, saw that ring and realized what it meant, her life was as good as forfeit. And she had it on some authority, she wouldn't call the mischievous young man who recruited her good in those terms, that she would be needed in the up-coming war. Of course, they would all play a role in the battle. And sometimes one was enough to tip the balance...

"I think I do....But it depends on where you're going.Right now your in Nuetral land, very obvious.I would be more than happy to help you out if you wish, but before do so I guess I should introduce myself.Yuria Quen'RavLeis at your service." Yuria said, being completely honest,"I won't guarantee anything, but I bet I could get you two out of here, but why trust someone like me?Because I'm nuetral and wouldn't hurt anyone unless I was on a side or if need be...You two have nothign to worry about really."
She looked up and the canopy, seeing birds flying out of the trees to get food either for their young, themselves,or just fly because it felt good.Smiling whilst returning her gaze to the two, her smile faded and she watched them carefully with her snake green eyes, her faced etched with seriousness and complete curiousity, her mind wondering what side both of them were on but she wouldn't about it.This would just things a little more complicated, possibly more fighting.

Cherla stared at the neutral sided girl. What in the name of the threads was she talking about? before she could ponder the question in too much depth, someone screamed in her mind, a plea for help. Instantly, Cherla stepped back into the trunk of the nearest tree and felt the threads of the world for the right one, the one who called for help. She found it, a magess. And near it, the man who she had never forgotten. Dornovarn. Her heart leapt. If the dark eyed warrior was there, Katarn couldn't be too far away. Quietly, she sent a thought along Dornovarn's thread, knowing that it would reach him before she would. "I must leave," she murmured, her voice soft in the forest air, "they need me." In truth, she didn't realise she'd spoken, or that she'd pulled the Rose Crystal pendant from under her shirt and was carressing the stone. It glowed slightly under her fingers, the colour changing slightly with each touch. The ring on her finger mimiced the swirls and spirals. Her gaze fell on Seraph blankly until a small, dangerous smile touched her lips. "Tell your mages the Rose goes to the Light," she said softly, the smile in her words. With that, she started to walk away.
