A silence descended upon the cold, dark woods as the blanket of night fell gently over the land. The shadows began to spread and the trees swayed gently in the night breeze. A figure clothed in a crimson cape walked silently through the trees, her head bent in thought. Her cerberus insignia glittered in the dark night. She walked until she reached a clearing in the middle of the forest.
Planting herself down, she leaned against a large tree and sighed. The stars in the clear sky glittered like lost diamonds. The hem of her cape fluttered in the wind as she closed her eyes and enjoyed the song of the crickets. It was almost her last chance to relax before all the bloodshed began.
Listen to the sound of silence...
It was like the trees were whispering. Secrets long lost were exchanged amongst the wooded trunks, floating throughout the branches, indecipherable messages drifting to her ears. The leaves rustled, creating the rhythm of the night. The dead leaves blew across the ground. One could even feel the presence of Starr, the mage after which this place was named.

The midnight breeze blew by, the dried leaves nestled on the earth began to rustle gently like a quill on parchment. Then, soft footsteps of a young princess could be heard. Her name, was Elaine Sylveria Alexandros, the last member who has Royal blood running in her veins. She held her dress up ever so elegantly and walked through the Woods Of Starr, it's dark mystic aura seemed to affect the whole place.
Elaine knew it was dangerous to go wandering in a Neutral Land at such an awkward time, but she could not help feeling slightly adventurous that night. Furthermore, Elaine felt a strang connection to this place...One that was hard to break free from. She was about to unravel certain mysteries that tied her to her parents' unjustified deaths.

Virae turned, and noticing the realm's last princess enter, gave a respectful bow. "What brings you here on such a night, princess?" Virae asked, her voice brimming with curiousity. A faint silverish glow flitted from tree to tree. It was a regular sight here, and some believed it to be lost spirits, once controlled by Starr. Virae turned her gaze to the glittering stars once more.
The silver diamonds in the sky like a path leading to heaven.
This thought drifted through her head...like a poem, created out of the threads of her mind.
ooc-Sorry, my muse's gone.

Elaine returned a curtsey and replied,"It's a strange connection.." her eyes wandering up to the heavens,"May I question you, do you know of the myths that have been going around The Woods Of Starr?" Elaine looked over at the Shadow Soldier, knowing what it was like to be one of the last ones of your own kind.

Virae nodded. "Certainly your majesty." She knew this legend since childhood. "It was believed that an ancient mage named Starr once trained in these woods when he was an apprentice. It is said he also died here, but no one knows the place of his headstone, or if he even has one. He was a legendary mage, much feared by others, but now he's gone. But myths say his spirit still lingers here. They say the spirit only reveals itself to the evil-doers to punish them." Virae smiled to herself. She believed that Starr was indeed one of the old leading mages of the Light side. Of course, Athena could live up to his name if he was. But there was of course another myth...
"It was said that a king, Vincent Alexandros or something, used to dwell here too, for some kind of meditation, seeking peace. But I've only heard it once."

"How did the Mage, Starr, die in this Forest?" she asked, thinking what a pity that he had died before this Battle,"I feel...connected to this place." Elaine mumbled, sliding her smooth hand over the bark of an oak tree,"It's something...Like a bond between me and my parents." she continued, losing herself in a deep myraid of thoughts.
Then, she paused and looked at the Shadow Soldier,"Did you mention the name...King Vincent Alexandros?" Elaine began to feel rather serious about this conversation.
She looked up at the stars in the skies, and realized it was probably time she headed back to the Campsite,"My apologies, young Warrior, the Princess shall now take her leave." Elaine curtsied and left the forest and headed back for the camp, wondering what happened to the feisty Taled.
