Realising the boy hadn't followed him, and his second had obviously been detained, Dornovarn sighed in frustration. If he couldn't get one lousy boy to listen to him, what hope did he have with the rest of the army? With a curse, he pushed the thought away. He had to succeed, he had no other choice. Decided, he walked back to the tent, saw the boy taking a step forward and decided that enough was enough, the lad needed to learn some manners.
"I thought I made it clear I wanted to talk to you," he was standing behind the boy, his hands on his shoulders, the words falling like snow onto him. Oh yes, when Dornovarn was annoyed, there was a coldness to him that was hard to thaw. "I will not ask a second time, and it is rude to stay where someone has asked you not to. In the Light camps, we observe proper manners whenever possible." With a smile to the ladies, and a mental not to check on Athena later, he turned back towards the command tent, his hand firmly on the boy's shoulder. "Shall we, Taled Mullion?"

Taled tried to kick backwards, he was not happy about this at all. Thrusting his shoulders around Taled writhed in the man's grip, oh no. He wasn't going to have any stupid chat with them, and manners? Pfft. Sure, thats what they all say. Scowling he tried to resist the leaders grip, but it did not mean he was not scared, he was actually, to put it frankly, terrified of the man, and if they were alone together, he was scared of being hurt. He didn't like strangers and despite the fact he had been around here alot, he didn't like the leader anymore than the dark side did. But he wouldn't go back there. No way.

"Taled, unless you want me to hurt you, be still and come with me. Of course, if you don't, you're going to undermine morale and the men's trust in me as a leader." Dornovarn appeared to everyone else to be smiling with amusement, talking to the struggling boy. "If I weren't fairly certain Katarn had mentioned you to me at some stage, I would have you chained as a member of the Dark army within moments. I don't want to do that, I just want to know why you're here. And Cook wants to know if you've eaten yet because there is plenty of food left from lunch an hour ago." Flames the child could struggle! Dornovarn gritted his teeth and kept the cold at bay. The Dark wouldn't use children, it was too convinced with its own power to bother... Or so he sincerely hoped. It would be a shame to have to have someone watch the boy at all times.

"Let me go, I've only ever been to that forsaken place once." Taled still refused to go quietly or go without a struggle, he didn't believe him, but then, there was a huge mountain of distrust in Taled's mind, and it is very difficult to gain his confidence. Especially after what he has been through. He grumbled in his mind, and sighed inwardly, this man was strong, and he didn't like it, didn't like it one bit.

"Taled," Dornovarn used the name like a command, knowing that there was still a small part of the boy that responded as expected, "stop, now. Cook has some food waiting for you, we can talk in the mess if you prefer, but I am going to talk to you, for the good of the Realm." Dornovarn didn't want to have to pick the boy up and carry him to the mes, or the command tent, but he would if he had to.

"Dornovarn." Taled scowled back, but he ceased his struggling deciding it would be best to still be in one piece when they had this talk, not that he wanted to have it in the first place, but continuing to refuse would only make it worse for him and the leader of the light, and he didn't really want to do that. /This is no way fair/ he thought, but then if he was back at the dark camp, they'd have skinned him by now. He was too tired to do this anyway

"Thank all that's sacred," Dornovarn murmured, "I thought I was going to have to carry you for a moment." He flashed a good-humoured grin at the boy, deciding that he would act as if it had all been a joke.
'I am coming,' the voice was back, satin smooth, 'please, tell Katarn the Rose is coming.' There was such a yearning in that voice it nearly drove Dornovarn to his knees. Whoever the Rose was, she certainly missed Katarn. But then, who wouldn't miss the cheeky rogue.
"Come on, let's get you something to eat."
ooc: want to move this to the mess tent thread?

Taled scowled back at the floor. He wasn't amused, and he was only doing it because he respected his dignity, and Dornovarns pride, for, if he could not handle a child, where was the good in him at all? Where was the strength of a leader within him?
OOC; Sure

Elaine glared at Taled for a moment before turning back to talk to Athena,"O-kay...Who is he?" the Mage asked, her eyes following the small boy before he was being dragged away by Dornovarn,"I'm not sure either. He just appeared here earlier on and even wielded a katana. "Elaine sighed. "I wonder what the Leader is going to do with him...Hope the consequences won't be too harsh. Afterall, he's only a kid." she shrugged.
"Oh." Athena could not think of anything else to say besides that.

The young Elementalist stepped into the tent and retrieved some of her belongings. Her dark brown eyes swerved over to the Leading Mage and the Princess. Atelier gave a small nod for some respect towards them and left the tent in a flurry with her thin sword and two elixirs. Her dark curtain of hair swished lightly in the midnight breeze as Atelier made her way to the Training Grounds.
[ Anyone who wants to RP with her shall go to the Training Grounds: Light Camp. Thanks. ]

"Maybe..I would like to take a walk around the Neutral Lands of Aravaen..I've heard of some strange myths. Would you care to come along?" Elaine asked,"Sorry, it must really sound obliging that way.." she shook her auburn locks out of her face.
"My apologies, Young Princess, I must really turn in for the night." Athena bowed.
"It's alright. I shall return shortly." Elaine returned a simple curtsey and headed of for the Neutral Lands.
