In the center of the camp, tall and proud in regal purple, stands the War Tent. This tent is used by the leaders and generals to discuss all of their plans for attack, defense, and other war missions.
Inside, lamps are hung from every corner, to provide the over-stressed leaders with the ability to work far into the night, never ceasing. In the center stands a large, wooden table, a parchment map laid across it, showing possibilities for strategy. Some bedrolls are stuffed against the walls of the tent, and dried food awaits on a bench, though whether they'll be used is not easily predicted.

Torin walked in to the war tent, many things on his mind. He had to come up with a plan. Sabotage... yes, playing dirty worked well, no matter how disgraceful it was. He needed to sit and think for a bit. The Dark Army was thus far lesser in numbers than the light, and he needed to even that out. Killing by hand was too gruesome, and this was too big a job to send assassins. He had to make it seem... natural... an idea struck him. He looked down at his amulet, absently rubbing it as a plan began to form in his head.
Minutes later, he ran out of the tent, searching for all the heads. The Spymaster, General, and Lead Mage.

Verias was just going to the war tent, just as Torin was exiting. Spotting the prince, the lead mage quickly sought to catch his attention. "Your highness, it appears that Ellinir has mysteriously vanished, and what a shame, just before the final confrontation! You must become leader in her place, if not we will lose to the lights, and that will be an even bigger catastrophe!" Verias used his left hand to make exaggerated actions as he spoke, his right hand waving his mage's staff slightly. "Time is running out, my lord. We must make haste in preparations." He glanced around the tents. A few soldiers were hurriedly storing spears in the weapons tent, whilst others were sharpening their swords. Then the lead mage turned back to Torin, awaiting his answer.

Torin stopped as he heard the mage speak. Ellinir... dead? There was no time for grieving, though in his heart he knew he would miss her dearly. "You are right, Verias, I will assume her position as leader. We cannot let one death stop us." He said solemnly. "Come to the War Tent, we have much to discuss." Indeed they did. There was no time to waste even one second, for time was running out.
As they were walking, Torin pulled Seera out to come with them as well. They needed to plan and discuss what was to happen as the battle began. He would need Rose Marie, the general, there as well. Most of the army was prepared to go, so there was just enough time for one ... dark... effort, at evening the odds.

Verias nodded, following Torin into the tent. He wondered if the lights had better tactics, or if they were already prepared. He made his pace quicken, his mind worried about the consequences should his side lose the battle. Where would they be banished? If the light side lost, where they would go was no concern of his. He just wanted them to leave. But in his mind, he also knew that Torin was a good leader and excellent tactician, and he would not let them down easily. The outcome of the battle was now in the hands of fate.

"Now, Seera here, and the others I called for, are going to be involved in a special plan before the battle starts. I plan to attempt to burn their camp, to even the odds a little," he began, sitting down at the table and looking over the map. "But you, I need to talk to about the battle."
"Our current status is that we have, and after the attack still will have, slightly fewer men than the light," Torin said, now looking up at the lead mage. "Oh, and don't worry, I have imps surrounding the tent so there's no one listening in. For the battle, however, we have plenty of supplies and weapons, and will be able to empower our men. I want to hear any suggestions you have to add to the battle strategy."

The lead mage paused for a moment, listening. "I could summon a few creatures to add to our forces..." He said, his mind still thinking of what other plans he could add to the dark side's tactic collection. "And maybe before the battle begins, I could enshroud the area in complete darkness. Or, if your highness prefers so, have a wall of dark fire or normal fire blocking the lights from advancing when the battle begins..."

"All very good ideas," Torin said with a grin. "I see only one catch; would the enemy mages be able to deactivate such things?" He didn't pretend to know everything about magic, but he made assumptions in order to avoid accidents. "If you would like to summon more creatures, that could very well help us, however, if that will drain your power, and if the creatures will be unruly or disloyal, I would rather we use your skills elsewhere."
Seera piped in, "During the battle, whenever I'm not needed for spying, I'll be calling on shades to assist us as well. The number of soldiers will not be a horrible hindrance, so let's put that as a lower priority."

In walks a tall, feminine figure ready to put her best foot forward, head forth for the incoming battle against the lights. She strucks her four bladded axe on the ground, leaning on it then twirling her wand. " Elexia Araguai Paramoree, commondo reporting for duty," she then smirked and held her wand and axe firmly walking towards the two gentlemen and lady bidding them hello. She remained standing for she believed that only when she was invited, then she would sit, eat and most things in our daily lives but not during battle, she would go all out during battles and need not be told.

"Yes..." Verias was in deep thought. He was just pondering new plans, when he noticed the commando enter the tent. Giving her a bow in acknowledgement, he then proceeded to reply the dark leader. "Your lordship, my creatures are hardly disloyal, for I can destroy them if I please. And if I'm not wrong, the enemy mages do not have much power to deactivate certain spells, provided they do not recruit stronger mages. We just need to find out what those spells are. And no, your highness, summoning does not drain my power. Perhaps only excessive use of magic without rest may." Verias then turned to the commando. "Do you have any ideas, dear Elexia?"

Still standing, she answers Verias the Leading mage's question,"what about using a decoy, then we can direct their attention elsewhere while we rampage the rest of their territory." She knew that it was a risk to take but she was willing to take it so long as there was a chance, having a decoy might risk the other's lives but it wouldn't if they were healers.
Elexia shifted her eyes around in discomfort having in a stuffy tent with no liquid nor resting place after her long exhausted journey from the mountains.

"Ah, Commando!" Torin said, looking up at Elexia with a welcoming grin. "Glad you could make it, please have a seat, we have much to discuss."
"Then it seems that summoning some of your creatures would be a good plan," Torin replied to the mage. "But not so many that it gets out of control. And the magical guards, either the darkness or firewalls, will give us a nice advantage as well."
"Your decoy idea," Torin said, turning to Elexia. "Is a very good one. However it must be planned and carried out with great care, as such things can easily go wrong, and that would be a disaster."

Rose Marie had made her way to the tent with the most annoying expression upon her face. She pushed open the flap and stepped in. "Sorry for being late. Had some business to take care of," she said. She stepped farther in, pushing her black hair behind her ears.
She felt a bit stupid for coming in so late but she did have some spies to speak to, assign them spots. "So...what's going on?" she asked, seeing them all around and stepped closer to them, letting a sigh escaped her lips. In some ways, she felt like she didn't deserve her position but she was very smart when it came to these things, as well as placing the spies in places people won't expect. She couldn't help it this time that she was late to a meeting. She really had business to attend to but it didn't matter, some didn't mind, others did. One sharp glare from her though and you snap your words back right away.

"I understand, Rose Marie," he replied. "We are discussing possible battle tactics. I already have one pre-battle plan that must be carried out, setting fire to the light camp to even the odds, but that does not much concern you. Otherwise, our Lead Mage has reccomended that during battle, he can call on creatures to aid us as soldiers, and put up either a wall of fire, or a dark barrier. The Commando has also put in that perhaps we should try a decoy sequence during battle, luring our enemies away. What say you?"

Elexia was rather disturbed yet pleased as her name was wrongly said but it was okay as she was indeed new, she expected complications when she first came like all others, things needed to be resolved quickly before bigger disasters happened. She sat down finally having to rest her long tired legs, pleased as her presence and ideas were recognised.
Elexia wanted to welcome Rose Marie but it seems like Torin beat her to it,: "Welcome Rose Marie, do you have any ideas of carrying a secret but yet revealing mission?"
Thoughts ran through her mind like wild lions chasing antelopes then it sturck her that even not using firewalls, she could control them, after all she has the power to know what everyone's thinking and change their thoughts, but only one at a time for her powers were not fully developed. She could maybe first hypnotise the creatures that were summoned from the valleys of darkness to obeying their every single wimp. She of course would not read people's mind unless necessary or curiousity as it would invade their privacy.
Elexia finally spoke up after being in a dze, talking to herself,:" I dare say that maybe a bit of mind tricks would change the creatures from escaping from our clutches, would it now?" She said giving a little smirk gliding through her face.
