Xarin turned his gaze back to her and nodded. "So I see." Then yet another memory flashed into his mind, of his own parents. What had happened to them just four years ago...
The blade whooshed through the air, hitting its target with a sickening crunch. The victim sank to the ground in a puddle of crimson, before collapsing head first, their eyes still wide open in horror. The victim's companion backed away. "Xarin, don't do this! We just didn't want you to make the wrong choices!" "LIAR!" Came his shout, and yet another blade flew through the air and impaled the petrified companion. He, too, sank to the floor dead. The teenager looked at the bloodied bodies of his parents, his icy eyes cold and unfeeling. Then he walked out of the house, never to return again.
When he was his usual arrogant self in public, he forgot all about these moments, and was not even one bit remorseful. But for some reason, now all the remorse came pouring back to him.

Linka walked quietly, looking back at the ground and thinking of what she did to her father, whiched made her twitch a little about the thought.
A figure could be seen in the rain, that figure being Linka, another bulky figure coming up to her,"Linka? Is that you?Oh my.....It is....I'm very sorry for what I did, everything will be different I promise.." her father said whilst embracing her in a hug, which she did not return.Later that night, when she had made camp, her father went to sleep rather early, and Linka was going to put an end to her own suffering, grabbing her dagger and murdering her father...
Her eyes widened and she stopped walking, the memory of her father's blood covering her hands, her heart raced faster and faster until she was looking rather ill, her face pale but she was fine.

"It seems that you have memories too..." Xarin's voice was unusually kind. For some reason, he was only kind to people whose memories were somewhat like his. He had remembered the blood coating his hands also when he had murdered his parents. But somehow, he didn't feel the emotion of regret. Was it all gone? He didn't know. But he also didn't want to find out why he lacked that emotion. Perhaps it was his defiant attitude that made him lose all feeling. But maybe it was also his parents' overprotectiveness.

"Yes...But I do not regret it at all......Not one thing.." She sighed and continued walking, her eyes looking dead straight, their steel gray apperance glinting in the moonlit forest, her hair resting upon her shoulders. Her summoner's staff not touching the ground, being held horizantally and not the usual vertical position.
